Market Activity has been real important to us. We strongly believe that is from were our users express themselves. As we are bootstrapped we have learnt to always keep an eye on it.

From Paid to Freemium
Since our beginnings, Sep 2009, we have sold every app that we’ve made, and that’s how we grew. We do believe in lean business models, and that kept us trying different ideas. We have discovered better opportunities from freemium model and since Nov 2014, we have switched to a 100% freemium one. Among its benefits:

  • new markets discoveries
  • new demographics discoveries
  • broader user-driven product development

Conversion
A/B testing taught us a lot, and it keeps doing so. Our conversion rates grew from 3% to 30% at some cases. We’ve also learned to streamline our production system with that on mind.

​Sessions
Our top 25 apps range from 40 to 160 active users/second, 3k to 8k sessions/month, and 750 to 3.5k new monthly users.

User Growth
Back on 2013 we had 6k weekly downloads on average, 2014 surprised us with 14k weekly downloads, and we are now celebrating 2015 with 45k weekly downloads. That means a lot to us. It means more and more people choosing our guides as a companion in theirs adventures.

With a strong presence in developing countries we give our best to understand and supply a global market. Most of our users are non english speakers.

AppPress
App publishing platform based on a travel-driven content management service. Enhanced for localisation and regionalisation. It lets content developer focus on the content essentials and don´t deal with technical details for publishing.

AppControl
Apps are connected between them…how do we update their content?, how do they get noticed about it?. That’s what AppControl addresses. Within each app we can link it with other related ones. Really helps for the curious and eager-to-know traveller!

​AppPromote
Each traveler has different needs and interests. How do we fit all needs?. AppPromote does that. We can add more promotions and cross-related content to each one of our apps. In that way we can suggest travellers with our latest releases.

AppDiscovery
Ocean is huge, we, eye candy fishes know that.

We like to be noticed. Cross promoting involves item selling within apps, but how do people discover us?. That is what AppDiscovery does, we have built a fantastic way to get organic customers within all our apps within all regions of the App Store in all languages.
